My newest book, entitled another reason to stand up, has a biblical message for men today. In the face of seemingly daunting forces which would have us to bow or at least fail to stand for what we believe in, this book will get you thinking and praying about what God wants you to be like. We have every example in scripture and in history of men who refused to fail at being a man. The truth is on another day most of them might have failed. If we've failed to this point or intermittently failed to stand up then it's time we ask ourselves what is God's plan for men and how can we choose to enact His plan rather than the ones we are pushed into.

I have no idea how many times I will promote this idea or how many times I will plead with men to stand up and be Godly men. But my hope is that this book will go farther than I ever can.

It lays out clearly based on Daniel chapter 3 what it would take to be like Shadrach, Meshach, and the Abednego in the face of opposition. After all, all we really need to do is keep quiet and we will not face the dangers of the fiery furnace. Someone else can do it, right?

No, if we are to be who God has called us to be it is ours to do.. Here's hoping, that this book will help with the process.

You can buy it on Amazon or read it on Kindle and soon you'll be able to buy it just about anywhere you want. Request it at your local traditional bookstore and they'll get it for you but it's pretty unlikely to already be on the shelf at least in the near future.

Buy copies for every man in your life who needs to hear this message, who needs to be encouraged in his effort to stand, and who is loved enough by the people around him for them to desire what is best for him in the area of biblical character.

I have struggled with the issues here-in laid out for decades and while I don't think that this book is the culmination of all those struggles, the writing of it and the reading of it have helped me to see a way forward.
