Jeptha was the only judge to make an intelligent argument from a diplomatic position. He argues that the Kings allegations of Israel stealing his land are inaccurate, He argues that God gave them the land and they should be allowed to keep it because God gave it to them in great victories, and he argues that 300 years have passed with no claims like this being made which is essentially arguing that the statute of limitations has expired.

Finally, he entreats God and I mean on his behalf and to prove that he is correct and deliver justice. God does just that.
