Some groups that new Heights and Life Station have for people to join

The New Heights Christian Games TEAM organizes and plays all sorts of games for Christian fellowship and community fun. The TEAM is looking for new volunteers and members for upcoming events. If you are interested in playing or running Table Top Role playing games, wargames, board games, card games, or video games and are willing to do so in a family-friendly way, please make sure your profile is updated by texting SETTINGS to 419-419- 0095 and entering your information and then text to the same number what types of game or volunteering you would like to do. We periodically schedule events to teach these types of games so if you just want to learn, keep an eye out for texts about those events. If you would like to listen to Table Top role playing games being played you can visit https://rss.com/podcasts/rpcgt/ If you are interested in athletic games, you can get updates on sports you can be involved with by choosing that group on the subscriptions page. If you are specifically interested in arts and crafts you can select that group from the subscriptions page as well. There are kids or teens groups to be kept abreast of events more suitable for those age groups as well. Reply SETTINGS to see your profile and the subscriptions page. We don't charge for anything we do although donations are accepted. Lastly, if you know someone who needs any of these things, please refer them. #RPCGT

many churches much possibility of getting it wrong

It just occurred to me that sometimes in wanting to get things right, even the will of God, we actually make things harder for those who are somewhere not quite caught up with us. We want to make sure our choices are correct, that we have cut obvious temptations out of our life and that we are reaching new heights in Jesus. The problem is, there are people who are watching us and even following in our footsteps and our diligence amounts to little more than a stumbling block for them. We refuse to eat food sacrificed to idols and they don't even have that decision on their radar yet. We teach giving faithfully and they haven't even thought things through that they might have to give.

The many churches of the world seem to be an example of the problem. I think there probably are as many different ways to be the church as there are groups of people who want to be the church but then that puts people in the place where they have to find a church and they have to choose from several opportunities. We want them in our church or in rarer cases we really DON"T want them to come to our church. People have to find their church home without the clarity of having fewer choices.

After all is said and done, the right one is the right one according to what God says but it may not have the programs that people are looking for, actually probably won't, because they are not there yet. It probably doesn't look perfect. God will say and we are meant to know the mind of Christ but because there is so much variety we are asking young believers or believers who haven't necessarily grown to where they are supposed to be to make a choice that outside God they would not be able to make .

I suppose this is why churches must have an understanding of the kind of people the church is supposed to be reaching, not speaking judgmentally but season of life, families, professional, etc. If anyone would fit that probably would be ideal but then it probably never is exactly like that.

Let us lead them to Jesus, be better people and a better church , and I suppose let us be sensitive to making the decision in as Godly a way as possible.
